About the role

Too easy is boring! Together, we are on a mission to drive forward the energy transition. We love what we do, and we are unafraid to dive in. We believe in taking ownership of our work and in continuously growing and evolving. In short: own it, love it, grow with it. We are a humble team of coffee and maté lovers with over 20 nationalities. With our geek humor, our love for emojis and random facts is only natural. Over 200 envelians are already on board. Dive in and thrive! As a  Product Manager (all genders) at envelio, you will work with our motivated team to take our product to the next level. As part of your team's mission, you will take end-to-end responsibility for improving our product.  You collaborate across departments with designers, developers, customer success managers, management, founders, and other stakeholders to create measurable value for our customers while achieving our business goals. You develop a deep understanding of envelio’s IGP, the market, as well as our users, customers, and their needs and challenges in their daily workflows.
You understand a complex B2B product within the regulated market for renewable energy and power grids and will be able to prioritize based on stakeholder requirements and company goals.
You continuously analyze feedback from our customers and partners in the energy industry, identify areas for improvement and business opportunities, and systematically prioritize them in the roadmap.
You manage the expectations and timelines of key stakeholders in a project-like environment, including tender processes and deadline-driven contracts, while maintaining an agile, product-oriented working approach.
You break down complex user needs to the essentials and write clear product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You are a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication between product management, engineering, and other departments.
Perfection is a myth! We’re more interested in the human behind the screen, so think of these criteria as helpful directions — we're excited to see how your unique skills might fit in. You have a master's degree, a completed PhD, or an equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in (SaaS) product management as a Product Manager or Product Owner and/or 3 years of experience in the energy sector. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in a scientific environment in the field of power grids.
You have a strong understanding of the energy industry and are familiar with the key challenges in integrating renewable energy, grid expansion and management, as well as the digitalization of power grids.
You are fluent in German and English
You are familiar with modern best practices in product management and/or project management and have experience working with cross-functional teams in agile development processes within software development.
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate teams, working independently and result-oriented.
