About the role
Analyze product requirements and specifications to define the overall test strategy and test plans, and allocate testing resources effectively .
Lead the team in conducting functional, performance, compatibility, security, and stress testing , ensuring sufficient coverage and delivery quality.
Lead the team to identify shortcomings of current products, provide product optimization suggestions , and ensure that products meet the needs of the German market optimally.
Lead the team to resolve compatibility issues between fixed-network devices and German operators , ensuring smooth deployment in the local market.
Mentor and develop test team members, enhancing their technical capabilities and execution skills .
Collaborate closely with development, product, and project management teams, participating in design reviews and solution discussions to identify risks early.
Continuously optimize testing processes and quality standards, building and improving the test framework and methodology .
Stay up to date with the latest testing technologies, methodologies, and industry standards, keeping the team competitive in fixed-network and router testing.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Proven experience in fixed-network (DSL/GPON) testing, with hands-on project leadership responsibilities.
8+ years of experience in network device testing (especially router testing), with at least 3 years in a team leadership or project management role.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VoIP, Multicast, and Wi-Fi protocols , with a solid background in network testing.
Proficiency with common network testing tools (e.g., network analyzers, traffic generators, protocol analyzers).
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, able to lead effectively in an international environment.
Demonstrated success in test process optimization and quality improvement .
Full working proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
