Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to contribute to the development of our Gen AI for Healthcare SaaS platform. As a key member of our early engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the core services of our cutting-edge healthcare AI solution, collaborating closely with the team to ensure the platform's success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain core platform services, ensuring seamless integration with the overall architecture

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices

- Collaborate with the team to create and update technical documentation

- Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies

- Assist in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements

- Support and troubleshoot issues in production environments

Required Qualifications:

- Production experience at scale of a generative ai application or platform

- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript or Java, with some experience in a modern compiled language such as Go or Rust

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools

- Understanding of agile development methodologies and project management tools

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree is highly desirable

- Able to work on-site in our amazing offices in Palo Alto 3 days per week

Desirable Skills:

- 6+ years of relevant industry experience

- Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

- Some experience with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)

- Significant experience with GCP in particular

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js)

- Previous experience in the healthcare industry

Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is between $160,000 and $240,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
