Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Platform Engineer to drive the development of our Gen AI for Healthcare SaaS platform. As a key member of our early engineering team, you'll be responsible for shaping the architecture, leading the engineering efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of our cutting-edge healthcare AI solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the overall architecture of our AI SaaS platform
- Lead the development of core platform services and ensure their seamless integration
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive technical documentation
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Actively contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead responsible for directing the work of others
- Production experience at scale of a generative ai application or platform
- Expert proficiency in Python and solid skills in typeScript or Java as well as some experience in a modern compiled language such as Go or Rust
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Expert experience in one of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Expert in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Strong familiarity with scaling tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Able to work on site in our amazing offices in Palo Alto 3 days per week (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided daily)
Desirable Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Some experience with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Significant experience with GCP in particular
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry

Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is up to $300,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
