Performance Engineering

About the role

6-12 years of hands-on experience in Performance engineering roles.

• Performance testing using JMeter. • Experience in running Endurance test, Stress test and Chaos testing. • Running performance tests and analysing/debugging the issues. • Have worked on performance testing of large scale enterprise systems/products and have extensive hands-on experience. Preferably delivered and supported products as Cloud hosted services. • Keen awareness of concerns in a massively distributed systems and effective solutions. • Experience in Linux cloud (Kubernetes) environment supporting applications built using language like Java, Go, Node.js. Knowledge of Rest API, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Couchbase. Experience in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana, Graphana. Experience in using NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems such as Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra in the context of low latency and high transaction volume systems. • Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box. • Experience with Functional Programming practices. Strong OOPs concepts, concurrency, exception handling etc. • Knowledge if Helm charts and Istio. • Experience using Al-powered engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor or similar solutions to accelerate test development, scripting, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. • Experience leveraging Generative Al (GenAl) for performance engineering activities, including workload generation, performance test scripting, log analysis, bottleneck identification, report generation, and performance optimization recommendations.
