Job Responsibilities


Define manufacturing process and production flow

Set up production lay out

Establish and communicate manufacturing support documents, procedures or specifications (work instruction, routines, cost control, drawings, set ups…)

Ability to manage day to day production support and problem solving, as well as developing the vision of manufacturing continuous improvement

Suggest related investments

Drive manufacturing cost control and cost reduction programs

Act as the conduit for communicating and enforcing all company rules, policies and procedures for personnel conduct, company property, ethics, compensation, safety

Propose solution to maximize production efficiency, productivity,  respecting delivery times

Define manufacturing time

Minimize manufacturing cost

Train, direct, and motivate personnel to produce the highest quality parts and products

Detect and communicate non conformities, propose corrective actions

Act as a team player, within his team and other services

Communicate with his peers, subordinates and hierarchy

Make safety and environment the most important criteria in the working area and for the individual

Knows all the used manufacturing processes

Job Requirements

Training/qualification

Technical engineering/manufacturing background

Experienced in similar function or in production department of industrial goods

Some experience in personnel management, or capable to evolve towards management role

Good computer skill, MS office including power point, excel, word, lotus notes, MRP

Language

Fluent Chinese

Good English level

Miscellaneous

Keep being informed on the production processes, techniques and tooling evolution

Hands on, pragmatic
