- Role: own integrations end-to-end, research, define, build, ship, iterate with customers. No PMs or bureaucracy in between.

- Looking for: new grads engineers with strong software development fundamentals, fluent English (no Spanish required), a builder mentality, and comfort with ambiguity.

- Compensation: €45k base + Employee Stock Options (ESOP)

- Location: Madrid (4-5 days/week in office).

I’m Juan, CEO of Invopop. We help companies like Fever, DeepL, and Booksy issue and receive invoices that comply with local requirements across 25+ countries.

We hire only exceptional early-career talent. This is a full-time role for someone who has completed (or is about to complete) university and can join Invopop within 1–2 months.

ABOUT INVOPOP

Invopop helps global companies like SumUp, Fever, or DeepL manage electronic invoicing in over 25 countries through a single API.

In the next five years, more than 40 countries, including the entire EU, will mandate that businesses send invoices electronically in XML formats and report them live to tax authorities. This reduces fraud and enables companies to automate invoice processing instead of relying on OCR. There’s only one catch: each country has defined unique standards, forcing global companies to build dozens of local integrations—or integrate once with Invopop.

Invopop was founded by Sam Lown, co-founder and former CTO of Cabify (Spain's first tech unicorn), and Juan Moliner (ex-BCG), based on Sam’s experience dealing with this problem in ten Latin American countries with Cabify

YOUR MISSION AS A GRADUATE PRODUCT ENGINEER

You’ll own one or more Apps from research to production

- Design and build backend integrations in Golang

- Investigate new countries and systems: read docs, interpret requirements, ask questions, and turn ambiguity into a clear plan.

- Make product decisions with support: what to build first, what to cut, when to ship.

- Support customers using your integrations and iterate based on real feedback.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering, or a proven track record building software outside formal education.

- Evidence of exceptional ability: top of your class, standout projects, or similar

- Builder mindset: side projects, open-source contributions, hackathons

- Fluent English (spoken and written). It’s our working language.

- You can join full-time in Madrid within the next 1-2 months

We’re in Madrid (Calle Guadalquivir 22, El Viso), 5 minutes from Nuevos Ministerios.

We enjoy the energy and collaboration of working together in person. We expect you to default to working in-person, but trust you to find the best balance between office and remote work.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

The process has four steps:

- Intro call (30 min)

- Take-home exercise

- Technical interview (1h)

- Final interview, in person (1h)
