Position Title: Director of Engineering

Location of Employment: 501 Brickell Key Drive, Suite 509, Miami FL, 33131 (Miami Dade County)

Position Duties Summary:
Supervise engineering team, participate in hiring decisions, assign work, and support employee development.
Plan and oversee software development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical requirements for our social media/influencer marketing and AI platforms.
Review software architecture, oversee the development of software applications, and monitor project quality and performance.
Coordinate the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software systems.

Position Requirements:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Must have at least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering or software development including:
Experience designing software architecture and cloud-based applications, APIs, and distributed systems that process large-scale, high-volume data.
Experience developing AI or machine learning solutions for content analysis, recommendation systems, media processing, or digital platforms.
Experience with image or video processing systems, data pipelines, or other large-scale data processing applications.
Experience leading cross-functional software engineering teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies to manage software development projects, coordinate product releases, and deliver enterprise software applications.

Salary: $180,000-$220,000/year. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
