Description:
This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Software Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Applicants must have a current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Command and control system application development
Previous experience with message translation software
Automated testing and pipeline development experience
Experience with software integration testing, including developing automated test scripts
Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying them with containers
Experience setting up a container environment
Understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and development
Ability to clearly document activities, write project plans, and prepare summary reports
Strong knowledge of software practices and coding standards
Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
Familiarity with Java Spring
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of backend development and message passing
Experience developing enterprise applications
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
The proposed salary range for this position is $112,000 - $129,000. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
