Think in terms of the problem, not just the ticket, you ask why something is being built, not only what. 
Write code that others can read, change, and trust, and you care about the craft of doing so. 
Collaborate naturally with teammates and other teams, and communicate clearly in writing and in conversation. 
Take ownership from problem to production – you see features through, not just to the pull request. 
Value pragmatism over purity. You can tell the difference between "good enough for now" and "this will hurt us later." 
And you bring hands-on experience with: 
Java and its ecosystem, with solid fundamentals in testing, version control, CI/CD, and how software runs in production. 
Some of the tools we use day-to-day (Spring, Maven or Gradle, SQL, GitLab) knowing the rest can be picked up on the job.
