About the role

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Expansion Air-Gapped team, focusing on a deployment engineering profile to build and secure sovereign cloud platforms. You will ensure our systems deliver reliability and operate effectively within secure environments. As a Software Engineer, you will plan and execute project work, deliver end-to-end tasks towards goals, and participate in design with guidance. You will focus on the practical deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of air-gapped solutions like Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), while managing and installing core infrastructure technologies.
